Jozani Forest Zanzibar – Half Day Tour

Pick up ex Hotel for Jozani Forest. The Forest lies about 35 km southeast of Zanzibar township in Zanzibar’s South Region. It is the only remaining natural forest on Unguja Island (which along with Pemba make up the islands of Zanzibar).

The forest, which covers an area of 10 sq km, consists of woodland, swamp forest and evergreen forest. It provides an important refuge for the remaining Unguja fauna such as the rare red colobus monkey, small Zanzibar leopard and two antelope species: the Zanzibar duicker and sunni.
